SCHUPP® Ceramics at ALUMINIUM 2026

From October 6 to 8, 2026, SCHUPP® Ceramics exhibited for the first time at ALUMINIUM in Düsseldorf. The international exhibition offered us a great opportunity to showcase our solutions for industrial high-temperature processes, establish new business contacts, and exchange ideas with experts from the aluminum industry.

Our exhibit focused on reliable high-temperature insulation solutions and process control for the aluminum industry. Whether for melting and holding furnaces, recycling plants, or heat treatment furnaces – our products support efficient thermal insulation, stable processes, and reliable furnace operation.

Our product portfolio for the aluminum industry

At our booth, we presented various solutions for industrial furnace construction and the optimization of existing furnace systems:

  • ITM-Fibermax® – Flexible high-temperature insulation blankets (PCW): For the manufacture of insulation modules and for suitable wall, roof, and door areas of industrial furnace systems.
  • UltraBoard – High-temperature insulation boards (PCW): Dimensionally stable insulation boards for durable insulation solutions and to reduce heat loss.
  • UltraVac – Customer-specific moulded parts (PCW): Precise, vacuum-formed insulation components for complex geometries and custom furnace designs.
  • FiberPlast 1800PRO – High-temperature adhesive: For joining, securing, and repairing ceramic insulation components.
  • PTCR – Process Temperature Control Rings: For verifying the actual thermal effect of temperature and time. They support quality assurance and the reproducibility of appropriate heat treatment processes.
  • Insulation Fire Bricks: As a complementary insulation solution, we offer insulation fire bricks from our partner IFB, manufactured in Europe. These combine low thermal conductivity with compressive strength tailored to the application—for durable, energy-efficient insulation in the aluminum industry. They are particularly well-suited for use as wall and rear insulation in anode baking furnaces, as well as for pressure-loaded floor insulation beneath the cathode lining of electrolysis cells used in primary aluminum production.

Personal Interaction and New Perspectives
