Optimised quality assurance with Process Temperature Control Rings
Process Temperature Control Rings (PTCR) are a proven tool for firing process monitoring and furnace temperature control. These pyrometric rings monitor and document not only the peak temperature, but also the overall heat work and thermal load during the firing process.
In addition to the pure temperature influences, among others, different sintering/firing conditions that may occur in a kiln/furnace such as heat sinks, temperature gradients, gas flow, heat transfer coefficient, kiln/furnace setting are considered.
PTCR can be placed anywhere in the furnace and will register the entire absorbed radiation, convection and contact heat. Their energy-dependent size change then permits precise documentation of the heat input across the entire firing process. In this way, PTCR measuring rings ensure sustainable and reliable quality standards, optimal reproducibility of your thermal processes, and comprehensive sintering quality control.
Your benefits with PTCR:
- MORE PRECISE than conventional measuring methods
- SIMPLER in handling
- COST-EFFICIENT in procurement
