M.E.SCHUPP®-UltraBoard & UltraVac


Insulation boards, shapes & cylinders from polycrystalline Al2O3 wool with an application temperature from 1,250°C to 1,850°C

Use and Technology:

  • The real alternative to common amorphous ceramic fibers
  • Long life cycle due to very low shrinkage,high bending strength and form stability
  • Thicknesses from 20 mm to100 mm
  • Standard dimensions: 900 x 600 mm for boards
  • Special qualities with 99% Al2O3 and composites with FIBERMAX® blankets
  • At 1,250°C pre-sintered boards and shapes available (“HF”)
  • Prefabricated furnaces kits tailored due to customer requirements available

M.E.SCHUPP®-ITM-FIBERMAX®

High End Polycrystalline Al2O3-Wool, Needled Blankets, Modules and Paper from 1,250 °C to 1,650°C


Use and Technology:

  • The real alternative to common amorphousceramic fibers
  • Products: Bulk, needled blankets, modules and paper
  • Highest energy savings and temperature resistance up to 1,650°C
  • Long life cycle due to very low shrinkage
  • Low bulk densities, shot content = 0,5% - 0%
  • Very high resilience capacity
  • Al2O3 content: Standard 72% (Mullit) and 96%(by the end of 2008)
