M.E. Schupp - UltraBoard M.E. Schupp - UltraBoard

M.E.SCHUPP®-UltraBoards and M.E.SCHUPP®-UltraVacs are rigid high temperature fibrous insulating materials made out of polycrystalline alumina fibre and special inorganic fibres and binders (also available as prefired boards).

As they have high flexural strength under high temperature, are light in weight and strong against thermal shock, they are suitable as an insulation material for fast heating and cooling condition such as high temperature electric furnace lining.

M.E.SCHUPP®-UltraBoards and M.E.SCHUPP®-UltraVacs have been very widely used in heat processing equipment in the manufacture of various technical ceramics, PM an electronic parts. All grades are also available in high purity grades. Na2O (Sodium Oxide) and Fe2O3 (Ferrum Oxide) are drastically reduced for semiconductor and advanced industry.

M.E.SCHUPP®-ITM-FIBERMAX®

High Alumina Fiber Blankets & Modules up to 1,600 °C

M.E. Schupp - FibermaxModules M.E. Schupp - FibermaxModules

M.E.SCHUPP®-ITM-FIBERMAX® Blankets and Mats are high temperature, light weight and flexible products manufactured from polycrystalline mullite fiber that can be exposed to temperatures up to 1600°C. They contain no organic binders or other additives which cause outgassing fumes or associated problems. In addition to exhibiting excellent resistance to attach from most corrosive agents, M.E.SCHUPP®-ITM-FIBERMAX® also resists oxidation and reduction. They are almost free from shot (unfiberized) particles.
The Blanket possesses outstanding handling, strength and resiliency at elevated temperature afford by its mineral composition and unique needling process to interlock fibers in blanket. All grades are also available in high purity grades. Na2O (Sodium Oxide) and Fe2O3 (Ferrum Oxide) are drastically reduced for semiconductor and advanced industry.

M.E.SCHUPP®-ITM-FIBERMAX® Modules are made of stacked multiple layers of blankets which are sewn together under compression, and are available in three temperature grades ranging between 1500°C and 1600°C. M.E.SCHUPP®-ITM-FIBERMAX® offers superior durability, resiliency, uniformity and dimensional accuracy. It has improved thermal stability over traditional ceramic fiber due to its mineral composition.
